Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing offers a skills recognition program for waterproofers who want to convert their prior learning and experience in waterproofing into a professional qualification and to help them obtain their waterproofing contractor’s licence. The program is available to Australian students who are yet to complete their partial studies and experienced waterproofers who want to back their skills with a qualification. Migrants with relevant experience of Australian requirements and standards may also apply. Upon qualification, you may apply for a waterproofing licence

You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include:

  • Samples of your work, including sketches, plans, quotations, tender documents and invoices.

The Certificate III in Civil Construction is aimed at skilled operators who work in the civil construction industry where you apply a theoretical knowledge, judgment, discretion and a range of skills to a varied work context. The qualification is applicable to Civil Construction, Timber Bridge Construction and Maintenance, Tunnel Construction, Road Construction and Maintenance, Pipe Laying, and Bituminous Surfacing Bridge Construction and Maintenance. You would typically provide theoretical advice in support of a team.
