Australian Global Education Consultancy uses Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to help you obtain this certification. By recognising your previous qualifications and experiences, those who want to upskill can take their career to the next level in the construction sector. All levels of tradespeople are eligible to apply for this qualification.

As part of the certification process, applicants must meet a set of criteria. The following is a list of eligibility requirements you need to meet to be considered for this certificate:

  • The applicant must be a citizen or permanent resident of Australia. If they do not meet the citizenship criteria, they must obtain a full-time working visa in Australia.
  • The applicant should have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a builder under the supervision of a licensed builder.

Competency standards for technical and non-technical skills related to concreting are included in the qualification. This certificate can help people improve their work prospects by giving them the opportunity to gain new technical skills and refresh their existing knowledge.

This qualification will provide you with fundamental skills that can allow you to move to a trade or managerial role in the building and construction industry. The completion of this certificate will ensure that you have both technical concreting and building skills, as well as specialised skills related to occupational safety. Upon completion of this certificate, you can work on a residential or commercial construction site.

This certificate attests to the fact that you hold the formal training, industry knowledge, and practical expertise required to conduct concreting work at a construction site. You can work without supervision and as a part of a team. This certification might serve as a stepping stone for future education or can give you the abilities you’ll need to launch your own business. You will also be one step closer to getting your builder’s licence with this qualification.

The Certificate III in Concreting may bring you one step closer to a builder’s licence. It is meant for construction tradespeople who want formal training in the industry. People who work for you can be certain that you are a trustworthy professional and know the best practices in construction.

The operation of builder licences and registrations is overseen by regulatory organisations in each Australian state. Check with the state licensing board for further details.

The Certificate III in Concreting program for the recognition of trade skills and prior learning recognises the experience of concreters who have yet to complete their qualifications. The program ensures that experience is converted into a nationally recognised qualification and helps you attain the subjects and qualification required to obtain a concreting contractor’s licence. The program is available to concreters who have worked locally for several years, as well as to local students who have completed only partial studies in Australia.
