The Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management is aimed at middle managers in a variety of community sector organisations. Individuals at this level work independently. These individuals undertake a range of functions that require the application of skills and knowledge required to steer the organisation’s strategic directions and achieve goals, and report directly to executive management. Workers at this level plan and monitor service delivery, recruitment of other workers, performance management, risk management, and contribute to continuous improvement within the scope of their specific roles. Other tasks may include program or project management, or management of broader community-based organisations, such as early childhood education services in not-for-profit organisations or community centres.
You will need to provide a range of evidence to assist your assessor to make a decision about your competence. The types of evidence you may be asked to provide can include:
